Out with the old, in with the new....germs, that is!

Now that we've begun the new year, Room 211 would like to ask parents if they could check their cabinets for any extra boxes of tissues and cleaning wipes that they could donate to our classroom. We accept all brands and all sizes. We even accept ones that have already been opened so don't be bashful! Also, if anyone has an old broom that they could donate, we could love to take it off your hands. Miss Varrell's flew away over the summer break and has not decided to fly back yet....

Also, in that same vein, the children will be having outdoor recess whenever possible, but will most often be out on the hot top. At times it may be snowy, puddly, slushy or all three. Hats, scarves, mittens and winter coats (with names marked on all) are highly recommended. Although there may be times when we stay inside due to inclement weather/temperatures, it is very important that we go outside and get some healthy physical activity each and every day. :)
