Pine Glen will be having its annual Open House for parents on Thursday, September 27 from 6:00-7:30PM. Mr. Lyons will begin the evening with a brief welcome and introduction, followed by a presentation of the newly adopted one-to-one iPad program in the upper grades. Each classroom teacher will be conducting two curriculum presentations to enable parents who have children in multiple grades to attend different presentations. The first session is scheduled for 6:20-6:50PM and the second session is scheduled to begin at 7:00PM and end at 7:30PM. The purpose of Open House is for parents to familiarize themselves with curriculum content and classroom structures only. Parent-Teacher conferences are scheduled by appointment as needed and are planned for later in the term when more instruction has been accomplished. Parents are not required to attend both Open House sessions. Come to whichever presentation is more convenient for you! I hope to meet everyone on Thursday night.
