Welcome to second grade at Pine Glen School! Today was a wonderful start to our school year. We had a great time meeting new friends and new teachers. The time flew by and before we knew it it was time to go home. Boy was it hot! Please be sure to bring a couple of bottles of water to school each day while the weather is still feeling like summer. You can be sure that whatever the temperature is outside, it can be just as hot inside on the second floor and even hotter in the gym!
Tonight there is some homework for parents to fill out. Many different colored pieces of paper went home this afternoon that need reading and some even need to be returned to school. Parents, please be sure to review all papers and have your child return them to school ASAP. Most importantly, please be sure to fill out the nurse's emergency information (hot pink card) as that is kept in the health office and needed for emergency healthcare situations.
