The Discovery Education website (affiliated with the Discovery Channel) is hosting an essay contest for students in grades K-5 to promote outdoor education called "Explore the Blue." The entry deadline is January 31. Check out the link below (you may need to cut and paste into your address bar if the link doesn't work) to enter the contest. Contestants must enter with a parent's consent so once you've read the essay topic and written your essay, be sure to give it to mom or dad to enter on the website. Good luck!
